It is possible to make some money from this site just by signing up for free programs. I have made at least $20 in the last year or so from free offers. The site, however, offers many more opportunities for cash back or rewards when you pay for goods or services. Personally, I have had a problem resisting some of these deals, and ended up spending much more than I earned. Don't get me wrong; they were good deals and good products, but I most certainly wouldn't have bought them had it not been for the money back. When compared to the similar programs Mypoints and memolink(my personal favorite), Cybergold offers far fewer earning opportunities, especially from free offers, and gives no rewards just for visiting web sites (as the others do). Cybergold does, however, offer actual cash, while the others offer points which can be redeemed for products. I would recommend this site to anyone with the willpower to resist buying things they don't need, but keep in mind that there are similar, better sites around.
