The Acer Aspire 2190m is the first computer I have purchased. I have to tell,you before that I was very computer illiterate. I didn't know a hard drive from a gigabyte.I chose the Acer because I had heard they were good quality. What caught my eye was the price. Since I really was entering a realm I knew nothing about(besides what I had read in books or magazines) I didn't want to invest a large sum. It was extremely easy to set up. The computer basically walks you through a set of instructions and you are good to go. It came with an assortment of software, from Battleship to Microsoft Works.Accessories are very easy to add. This is a gem for somebody like me who had no idea what they were doing. Though the output on the speakers is very poor, this is a charm for that child who is desperate for his own computer.
