Etour and Beyond

I joined Etour about a year ago. At that time I was signing up for every points program that I came across. This one seemed easy enough and after looking at what I could redeem points for I was impressed. Well, a large number of those original points programs have fallen by the wayside, but even though it takes a while to earn points on Etour I still keep going back.
To stick with Etour you have to be in it for more than just the points. At only 40 points a day and only being able to redeem points when you reach 5000, it takes a while unless you have a large number of referrals. You really have to have your interests set and take a serious look at the websites they show you.
Etour has shown me a few sites that I have seen before. For instance, any avid internet coupon shopper has seen Petsmart, Pets.com, Petstore.com, More.com, and a host of other sites that have put out coupons. However, they have also shown me quite a few interesting new sites that I never would have found otherwise. Some of them have been geared toward science-fiction, which is one of my interest. While others have been just your out in left field sites that unless you were looking for it specifically you would never come across. One of my most favorite of these "weird" sites was the website devoted to poppy paper or what most people call bubble wrap. I don't remember the URL now, but I spent over an hour just surfing around that site and totally enjoyed myself. Since that happened to be the first site I was shown, it took over an hour for me to get 40 easy points. Yes, that defeats the purpose of an easy and quick points program, but if I enjoyed it and had the time what did it actually hurt?
I would highly recommend this points programs to others. Yes, it takes a while to accrue enough points to redeem them for anything. However, even if Etour doesn't show you a site you want to actually take a good look at it is 40 points in 5 minutes or less. This is something that can be done while your email loads in a separate window. Go ahead and give it a try, it can't hurt and you might find a website that you didn't know existed.
