MSN Messenger service is a handy tool, especially if you use hotmail and outlook express(not much uses if you are not). It checks new email, keep track of online contacts, let you chat using instant messages, in new version 3.0, it teamed up with net2phone, now you can use it as a internet phone in addition to all the other handy things it does. And it's amazing. The voice quality is no doubt among the best, even on 56K modem, it just sounds like regular telephone, and it's even easier to use than dialpad, and better yet, besides calling the regular phone, it can be set up to use the mobile devices, like sending a message to a pager, a very handy feature.
Net2phone is among the first to introduce internet phone with a better than average voice quality, unfortunately, it's not free, until now. So if you haven't tried the new version with voice capability yet, give it a try, you will have a very pleasant surprise.
