After much comparison shopping with other computer brands, makes and models, I decided to purchase the Gateway Solo 3150. This particular upgraded model came with an excellent DVD player. Internet access is great as well as download times. I purchased the Gateway Model because of their great reputation for tech support. Unfortunately, I had to use them. One small detail that I have learned is that there is a design flaw within the screen. I experienced a problem with a flickering screen. All it took was a brief phone call to Gateway and the problem was rectified. I highly recommend this model! The price is right for all that this computers contains.
