Fly Like Never Before
Written: Mar 29 '00
Pros:Sleek, and very comfortable.
Cons:A bit large, but no problem if you have the room.
The Saitek 3D stick is probably one of the better joysticks of used, if not the best.
The joystick sports 10 configurable function buttons, 8-directional twist stick, digital, hat switch, thrust nob, and a convenient little piece to properly fit the joystick to your hand.
The 10 function buttons are convenient for configuring all the extra options in games like Flight Simulator, or other flight simulation games where you have so many different options. The hat switch is on top, and is usually used for your views in flight simulation games. The joystick is 8-directional, meaning north, west, south, east, northwest, northeast, southwest, southeast. And, for extra function, the joystick twists left and right, which can also be used as a separate function.
So far, I haven't had any support problems with any games. Everything I've played to-date easily configures and works with the joystick.
