Netcom is a good, reliable ISP!

Pros: Lots of local numbers, rarely get busy signals, relatively cheap, good service
Cons: Hard to get a hold of customer service during the daytime

We have used Netcom/Mindspring for over 3 years now...probably 4-5, can't remember. We have had very few, if any, problems w/ Netcom. We have a local number, rarely ever get a busy signal or get disconnected (at least, not because of the ISP!). When we go away on vacation and want to check our email, if there is no local number, Netcom/Mindspring offers an 800 number where you pay a certain flat rate per minute. There are no hidden charges with netcom, everything is set out in front of you and clearly stated.
Mindspring is a very reliable Internet Service Provider. The one downside is that it is hard to get a hold of customer service during the day, the best time to call is at night. They've usually helped me fix my problem. I have been completely satisfied with Mindspring....when Netcom was taken over by Mindspring, we were worried, but it was all for nothing, Mindspring has made things very smooth. I highly reccomend Mindspring as a quality Internet Service Provider!
