The NEC computers are pretty if you are talking about how fast it is and the price. my sister got hers for about 800 dollars. The speed is pretty fast and the modem provides pretty good connections to the internet. But there are also bad things about this computer. The preinstalled programs could be better. the virus scan is impossible to use. also the computer will reset by itself sometimes for no apparent resaon. Also, the computer is automatic shut down but sometimes when you shut down and leave, when you come back it is still on. If it was going to be ilke that id rather have the kind you manually shut off. Overall the computer is good but the quality could be better.
