Diamond Viper V770

The Diamond Viper V770 has got to be the worst video card in its class. First of all you pay $200 for the thing when you could get a Voodoo3 3000 for less than that.

I have had my Diamond Viper V770 for about 2 months now and it is just horrible... It is alright for a couple games (Quake3 & Unreal) but with most games it is just ungodly slow and jerky. This card also doesn't contain the 3dfx chipset like the VooDoo has.

Another big thing that was a problem for me with this card is that it will not work with another video card to run dual monitors which is a must for me. You should seriously take this into consideration if you think you will ever run more than one monitor.

For an average user that doesn't play games and just lets there computer set or just does book work on it then the Diamond Viper V770 would be alright to have since it does have quite a few extra video function and displays a nice clear picture.

Overall I would not recommend spending the money on this video card.... either buy a cheaper one which will do as good of a job or get yourself a Voodoo3!
