$20 For Decent Quality
Written: May 15 '00
Pros:Cheap, Decent Sound Quality
Cons:Old Technology.
Even though you can only hook up two sets of speakers, powered and not powered, this sound card pumps the sound out pretty good for $20. In my 486 it works just fine with out any delays while playing MP3's. It has some decent sound quality while playing games like Quake and Duke. So if you are looking for cheap quality sound card. Get SoundBlaster 16. I am very pleased with it and it has lasted a long time with out any problems. I recommend it completely for those on a budget or looking to fill a space in their older computer. Have fun!
