I bought a Dell 800 this past summer to replace my HP 166. The improvement was obviously incredible. However, besides a difference in speed, I noticed a great difference in reliablity. Previously I had found that I had to make a run to the computer repair shop at least once a year, whether it was because my hard drive crashed, or a virus corrupted my computer. Once I got this computer, all my worries faded. During the 6 months I have had the machine, I havent had even the SLIGHTEST problem. Its flawless!! So far I am amazed at hoe well this computer is put together.

Besides reliability, the cost of the Dell 800 is unbeatable. Don't be deceived by the 1600 price tag. If you go to www.dell.com you will find that it is possible to create your own computer. Using this you can take out anything you already have, while adding those tiny things that you find yourself drooling over. When purchasing mine, I didn't buy a mouse, keyboard, speaker system, monitor, printer, or any of the programs it came with since i had all these on my HP. After reducing the cost several hundred dollars, I decided that the G Force2 graphics card couldn't be left out. Although it bumped the price up 100 bucks, I settled down to only a 1300 dollar P3 800!! You cant beat that!!

If you are looking for a computer that you can rely on, and one that will be able to handle anything you put on it, this is your computer. I play the most demanding games and the computer has no trouble running them at maximum resolution. As to this day, I havent seen any amount of programs running slow it down.
