The Visioner 6100 printer is trully the talles rose in the rose garden of scanners. It offers a compact design, and very good quality. In fact the capability of this printer is so high that your printer will probably be unable to mach the power of the scaner. The resolution goes all the way upto 3600 dpi. with the visioneer software you can manipulate all your scanned images as desired. Text recognition software allows you to scan a document and put it into a writing program where it can be manipulated like any text. I have never had any problems with my visioner scanner, only great pleasure. If you want a scanner too you should consider this model.
