When my dad and I set out to purchase our new computer we wanted something affordable with great performance. After searching far and wide we came to to decision to buy a custom HP computer. The computer was delivered promptly and it was simple to set up. I found no problems at all with the computer itself or the monitor. Our computer cost only about $1500.00 and we have a Pentium III running at 700MHz with 128 MB of RAM. That's pretty cheap. I would recommend it to anyone setting out to buy a really nice computer at a good price. The only problem that I found with the computer is that the monitor it comes with, the S70 model, is crappy, and it would be better to purchase the nicer fifteen inch or seventeen inch monitor instead. Another small complaint is that the speed of the CD-RW drive is kind of slow, but only when you're copying programs and not just transferring files onto the CD.
