The Gateway Performance line has always been for those you want all the bells and whistles, but a little light in the wallet. I know personally as I own a Gateway Performance 450. I have had no problems with it, and I am just delighted with its head turning Pentium III. The Gateway Performance 600 deluxe is no different. It is an all around great system for those who want a computer that packs a punch.
However, with a price tag close to 2,000 it may be a little pricey for some. The only problems I have with the base system is that it comes with EV700 17" monitor (.28). For an extra $100 I would defiantly get the VX700, which is a much higher quality monitor (.25). Also for the true gamer I would recommend upgrading the video card to Vodoo3 3dfx card.
