I recently bought a new computer system from Dell. It was the XPS T750r. Here are some of the specs:
P3 Coppermine at 750 MhZ
256 Mb SDRAM
GeForce Plus 32 Mb Graphics Card
SB Live! Sound Card
Harmon Kardon HK-595 Speakers
21" FD Trinitron monitor
8x/4x/32x Sony CD-RW
8x DVD drive
18gig SCSI 10,000rpm hard drive
I am very pleased with my system and Dell. My computer got to me less than 2 weeks after my order I placed. (I had placed an order for the XPS B800 2 months before, but I cancel because of lack of availability of the PC800 RDRAM and the 800 MhZ P3Coppermine chip until April)
The XPS T750r runs much faster in all aspects as compared to the Dell XPS H266 that I was using before. Also, the 10,000rpm SCSI drive really transfers data at an amazing rate. There has been no problems with this system thus far.
If you're in the market for a top of the line system, I suggest getting a similar configuration as the one above (I paid $4000 for my system). And I suggest you stay away from the RDRAM systems because of the sky high price for PC800 RDRAM and only about a 15% increase in memory tranfer speed.
