They started out with a contest where you could win up to a million dollars and a superior adbar!
Here is an overview:
The mValue Panel allows you to identify and selectively block the hundreds of companies that monitor your surfing habits. They use your information for their benefit, not yours. If you do not know or trust a web site, you can block them from accessing your information.
Get paid to surf. Earn cash and points simply for viewing ads through the mValue panel while you are online
As you surf with the mValue Panel, cash offers are brought to you by advertisers that want to learn more about you. You decide what information, if any, you want to exchange for cash.
Payment Rates
You earn cash and mValue points when you are online and actively using your browser (surfing). You earn points, but not cash, when you are online but using any other application (such as Word or Excel). The green light on the mValue Panel indicates when you are online and earning points.
The hourly cash rates paid to you are:
$0.50 for your online surf time
$0.10 to you for any direct referrals you have signed-up
$0.05 to you for extended referrals (Level 1)
$0.05 to you for extended referrals (Level 2)
$0.05 to you for extended referrals (Level 3)
$0.05 to you for extended referrals (Level 4)
So far the panel has offered no problems with bugs. The privacy feature is a little annoying. If you enable it you have to restart all your browsers and if you turn it back off your browsers must all be restarted again.
I recruited enough direct referrals using my RefMaker and personal site to qualify for $1000 in the contest, but have yet to hear any word on this.
Overall this program is a contender if they increase their hourly limit above 10 hours - remember AllAdvantage started at 10 hours too. :)
