apache works greats!
i have just enable perl and some other options
and he do a lot of things!
a frontend to configure it is available,his name is comanche.

this webserver is the most used in the world,i now know why...
but if you want to use files in .shtml extension you must install ssl (www.ssl.org)
and adding a few lines in the config file

a little more about comanche:
comanche isn't a really complete frontend,it include a lot of things, but not all we needs
i think you can have it on some websites like www.freshmeat.net


this webserver never crash on my cpu, (PII 350 overclocked at 450 , 64sdram , 150mb in swap)
if you are running linux , and you are looking for a webserver, there is only one way: take apache, this is THE best server!

you can change anything you want,and you can have the source code, very interesting thing! (you can't have that with M$ Windows)
