7100 Omnibook- is still going strong

Since there are some of these still floating around- especially on auction and reseller sites- here's a few thoughts on this machine, especially since Ive used it for awhile- It's been great! Im a little worried about the cdrom starting to chatter a bit- but for the price/performance/quality- I think most people would be very happy with this lineup. To be sure- it's heavy, a damn heavy 9.x lbs. If I was any smaller and didnt lift wieghts- it might bother me- so beware if you are on the slimmer side. With a bag over my shoulder running through hartsfield intl airport- i realized how heavy near 10 lbs can be. That aside, I wouldnt give it up for anything except a newer one. Enough said.
