| spiderlegs's Full Review: Samsung SyncMaster 750 P Monitor |
To me the monitor is the most importance part of the computer. It's the part you have to look at. It's like a big lightbulb inches in front of your eyeballs and lots of people stare at one all day . I spend way to much time in front of a monitor and my eyesballs where suffering bad. When I went to shop for a new monitor I was looking for a small dot pitch and a high refresh rate. Being a Web designer I also needed a monitor than displayed accurate colors. I read about 20 reviews of different 17" monitors under $500. I came across the specs on the 750p and that Samsung stressed the fact that it's a great monitor for people who stare a one many hours a day and it included Colorfic true color matching software.
I purchased the monitor for about $280 on the Web. - That didn't seem much at all for a quality 17" monitor and I was a little skeptical never actually looking at one.
When the 750p came, I took it out of the box and plugged it in. It is a deep monitor. I had to pull my desk away from the wall a couple more inches. Once I set my video setting (1024x768 24bit at 100mHz refresh rate) I was very pleased. It looked great! Within days my eyes felt better than ever. The 750p has a real sharp, solid picture. The colors look great. It is a very nice monitor to look at and I am much more confident while working with graphics. This monitor is worth a lot more than I paid for it. I've had it for about 8 months and I am more than satisfied with it's performance. For a little bit more you can get the 19" 950p - That's my next monitor for my new system!
