Thinkpad 1412

I had to jump into Circuit City to buy this laptop after my old refurbished Thinkpad died. Not to say that the $400 Compuserve rebate wasn't a nice inducement.
A quality laptop, the Thinkpad performs great. While relatively thin, the keyboard is almost full sized and is great for someone with big hands like mine.
My only qualms are with the placements of some of the buttons. The CD controls on front are too easy to push by accident. The volume control is also hard to find, as all the ridges on the side are confusing.
These minor things aside, the Thinkpad 1412 is a quality computer.
