Too many problems to name. Basically I returned this to the store and replaced it with another. I wished that I had $200 extra t get a better one, but I had to settle with an equal exchange, hoping that I didn't encounter the same problems.

I was first put off by the poor graphics. There was also a hole on the screen. Next the problems after the full installation of Office 2000.Then the screen saver wouldn't activate. It froze so often that I had to drop the battery out of it to get it to shut off because it wouldn't respond to being turned off manually. I tried to run the recovery disk and it wouldn't operate. The HP tech, after 3 tries was ready to send a new "hard drive"!!! The retailer's tech fixed it in 5 minutes. I exchanged it and have to live with it until I can afford another.

I like the soft keys, the design is old fashioned, the speakers are weak, but the DVD viewing is cool. I watched an entire movie on it...but you have tomove the mouse around or it'll freeze during viewing and you'll have to reboot.
