I bought this printer at Walmart for $59, and this site says it costs $99. Now I really feel like I got a great buy. The day I bought it I brought it home and printed probably 20 pictures on glossy paper to give to my family for Christmas. I figured if it got me through that, it was worth $59, but it is still going after a couple of months. I do newsletters for a living, so I print a lot before my final product is finished and I have a separate printer for that. I really don't recommend giving this printer too hard of a run, but it would be great for a college student or home office. This printer only has one cartridge for color and black. For heavy-duty printing, a printer with separate cartridges for color and black would be better, because these cartridges go pretty fast if you print frequently. This printer mixes the colors to make the black, so you are always using color and the cartridges are not cheap considering the price of the printer is so cheap.
