I am the proud owner of one of these video cards. This card is designed for games and movies. It will do just about every thing though. I got it because I play computer games and It works well with my DVD player. On my system a t-bird 700mhz it gets a nice 6414 3dmark2000 score.
For the tech specs it are very nice. the core runs at 200mhz and the memory is 64mb of DDR-RAM at 333mhz. (166mhz x 2 from the DDR) It supports resolutions up to 2048x1536 @ 75hz. It runs in D3D and OpenGL and supports Full-Screen-Anti-Aliasing in OpenGL. It is designed so it can be overclocked and it comes with a heatsink and fan on the GPU and heatsinks on the RAM. It supports AGP 4x with fastwrites enabled and has a 256-bit bus.
It has a S-VHS out and comes with a converter to composite. It has the standard monitor out, but I also has a DVI-out on the card for though of you who happen to have a Digital monitor. It has no HDTV-out, and no video in features though which makes it not as great for video editing though. It is also a bit pricey at >$330 bucks at www.computerhq.com. This isn't where I bought it unfortunately. I didn't get this good of a deal.
This is an awsome card and blows away most of the competition. I haven't played a single game where it has caused the game to slow down because of too much graphics. It can render 1.6 Gigatexels a second using its new texture and lighting engine. This board has blown away all of the benchmarks that I have seen. It is a must have for any hardcore gamer.
