| cmartinjr's Full Review: Compaq Presario 7462 |
I purchased this computer from Radio Shack due to the fact that they have been real helpful in the past with questions that I have had. It sounded like a great bargain with MV520 monitor, a 500 mhz, ADM K6-2 processor with 3D Now, speakers and IJ750 printer. It also had a $400.00 rebate if I signed up for MSN internet service for three years (which I cancelled early). It would have been a great bargain but it is just as slow as my old sx3300, but this one locks up, and I can't do a thing with it(unless I turn it off and on). I am now looking for another computer to buy, and it will not be a Compaq.
Like many people, I don't like to pay $900.00($1300.00 - $400.00) for something and it not perform for me.
So if you are in need of a good wheel chock or a computer that takes more breaks and your LOCAL 7462, go ahead and buy another Compaq. If you want a real deal find you a computer that you have more than 3 or 4 people tell you about.
Like the last time I am waiting for my it-1040 to come back, and this time it will go to IBM.
