| teaglemaster's Full Review: Smart and Friendly CD Recorders |
When i bought my new computer I had to have a CD RW as I do a lot of high end graphic work and it eats up hard disk space. When i researched the different brands I found that the old adage what you get is what you pay for is not necessarily true in the case of cd writers. The sony and toshiba cd-r's were rather pricy and did the exact same things as the Smart & Friendly cd-racer cdrw. It was about $100-$150 cheaper than all the big boys brands and had the same speeds. It has performed flawlessly for me since installing it into my system. It took all of about 20 minutes to install the hardware and software and be ready to burn my cd. The software enables me to burn data as well as music cds and I am able to produce my own club mixes as well as save a whole lot of Hard Drive space by putting my graphics directly onto CD
