| a67sm's Full Review: Dell Dimension L433 |
Dell well yeah it is a Dell. But are Dells' really that great? No! They have cheap computers that stink. Like the one I am using right now. It is an L400c which was Dell's main line last Halloween. It is very cheap but it doesn't work too well. It is terrible. I was given it as a gift and didn't realize how bad it was until I found out that I could upgrade to a Duron 700MHz for only $250. If you only do word proccesing and want to buy a cheap computer look for this on eBay or email pcpeeps@aol.com and they can build you a custom computer for cheap that is great. This Dell has terrible speakers, a microphone that is the worst, and a Mini-Tower case. Luckily the tech support is great so when my hard-drive crashed I got a new one that had 3 gigs more space. It also has an easy to open case so upgrading is a sinch. Overall a Dell Pentium 4 @ 1.4GHz for $1,999 is a much better deal. Also this computer comes without a Direct3D graphics card so it is unable to play many games.
