Simple Writing Tool

The AlphaSmart keyboard is the simplest way to get writing done. Because it's not a computer and has no operating system you turn it on, start writing, and when you're done you turn it off. No naming, saving or trying to remember where you stored files. It's compatible with just about any computer and printer.

The AlphaSmart is not just a kid's writing tool, it's a powerful way for professionals to do writing on the road. I use mine on planes all the time. With 500 hours of battery life writing while flying overseas isn't a battery hassle.

Lastly, the company is excellent to deal with and they have a free loaner program so you can try this excellent tool out before you buy.
