Okay, I tried it again once I switched to the Internet Explorer. You know what ~ it's still a trip through junkland. You press here, you press there, you fill this out, you answer a hundred questions and then you have to fight with Cybergold for your 50 cents. They lead to believe there's nothing to do but apply, but that's not always the case. You really have to search some of these sites to "apply" and a lot of them try to trick you into a purchase.
Some "freebies" were exactly that ~ and easy money. Sometimes all they asked for was your e-mail address ~ that I liked. But wading through all the other bull, plus the huge amount of e-mail you get afterwards really wastes your time. I spent 1/2 a day to bring a previous 50 cent balance up to $5.00.
Now if you have good credit, which I don't, I could see this being worthwhile. You can apply for a credit card, use it once and get $5 to $10 for each card. But if you're turned down you get nothing and it sits in your account forever. There has to be easier and better ways to make a buck on the internet. Like Epinions for example. From this site I've learned to apply for piggy from ValuePay.com. Money for just being online? Now that's more like it.
