| mrt2852's Full Review: Micron Millenia Max 533 |
Along with the Pentium III 800 Mhz processor, the Micron Millennia Max 800 also sports a nice 128 MB of SDRAM. With a standard 27 GB hard drive, the Micron will not become obsolete anytime soon. The 19 in Trinitron (flat screen) monitor is easy to view and has remarkably high resolution. A 32 MB NVidia 256 graphics card adds to the splendor of the monitor, producing excellent graphics. For heavy gamers like myself, the three-piece Altec-Lansing satellite speakers will only add to the outstanding graphics. The Creative Sound Blaster Live Value sound card came with some excellent software, which included an easy to use sound-editing program.
Micron PC also does a fantastic job of standing behind their computers. 24/7 technical support is offered. I was impressed by the step-by-step setup poster, which made the task of connecting the computer very simple. When I opened the back of the computer, which was incredibly easy, I was pleasantly surprised to see five open bays, along with four open slots. Installing the Ethernet card involved the removal of one thumbscrew and sliding the card right into the slot.
The Micron Millennia Max 800 is perfect for the needs of most. If one does not anticipate using the computer much, downgrading to 600 MHz would be a good idea.
