I am going to make this simple. I went in to my local software store to purchase something to store and compile my family history. I really didn't know much about any of the programs out there, so I was planning on shopping around. When I got to the store, I was amazed at the number of programs, all dealing with genealogy, and the range of prices. I looked at $10 shareware, on up to about $100. I ended up selecting Family Tree Maker Deluxe 20-CD Set. There was an added bonus of a $20 rebate on this selection.

Once I got this home, it was so easy to load on my computer. I was ready to start my family history in about 5 minutes. I was quickly adding facts and names. This program helped someone like me organize my family. If it can help me, it can help anyone. If you are serious about your family history, get this program. You will love it.
