This is one of my favorite toys! And it's not because of what it's supposed to do. What this thing's supposed to do is help you with all your internet stuff, like checking e-mail, surfing webpages, and helping you find anything you want. But, what he really ends up doing is annoying the living &*$& out of you as he keeps suggesting places to go. So for that reason, I HATE THIS LITTLE PURPLE MONKEY THING!
But the reason I love it far outweighs the hatred. The reason I love this monkey so much is because you can make it say WHATEVER YOU WANT. It's so great, just trust me on that one. My friends and I spent At least two hours making him say all sorts of 'weird' things. (Keep in mind that we're all 16-18 years old.) So for us, making this little funny talking monkey cuss was just the funniest thing ever.
Then it got even better.
We planned out whole messages and called people, playing the messages. It's truly hilarious. I almost died of laughter when i got home, checked my answering machine, and heard, "Hello, Rhett, this is your internet monkey speaking ... I'm in your kitchen with a butcher's knife, and I am going to kill you! Blah blah"
Alright, maybe it doesn't sound that funny ... but it is. Trust me, when you hear this little guy's voice cussing you'll fall on the floor with laughter.
It's jokes are also so ... well ... terrible that you can't help but laugh. One of them didn't even make any sense, and the sad thing is that it was designed for an eight year old. Maybe we're just stupid... oh well.
So you want the lowdown on this lil' monkey? Well, it's free first off, so you really aren't losing anything by getting one. But it is pretty annoying, cause it keeps suggesting websites. But if you use him the right way, it's great. Like, from now on if I call into work I'm using it and having it say, "Hello, this is Rhett's internet monkey ... he's sick today and won't be coming in. Thank you!" What can they possibly do? Say 'no' to an internet monkey?
Pure humor, I tell you ... pure humor.
