Zeus PRO is an exceptional application for anyone who has built a website and now wants to see it grow and thrive. In essence, what it does is simple - it allows you to create your own categorized web directory, your own version of Yahoo.

The benefits of doing this are that you add extra content to your site that increases its value as a user resource. In addition, Zeus encourages the sites your directory links to to link right back to you, helping you to gain more visitors (or customers).

The manufacturer's website is very detailed and helpful. It includes a discussion / support forum (message board) that helps you to get the absolute most from the product. Customer support is fast and thorough in my experience.

Zeus is a robot. Similar to the robots (or spiders) that are used by the commercial search engines. Zeus will 'crawl' the internet, seeking out sites that match the topics you have chosen (using up to 100 keywords). The ones that match are 'bookmarked' for later, along with contact details so that you can let the site owner know, and see if they would like to link back to you. You can then simply review the sites that Zeus has 'marked', choose which ones you would like to add to your directory and discard others.

There is a noticeable learning curve in the early stages of using Zeus. This is a very complex application, that automates (or at least eases) all the various aspects of creating, maintaining and updating a high-quality web directory. However, as noted, the support is excellent and within a week or so you are an expert.

Zeus uses the standard Microsoft Jet Engine Relational Database. This means you have access to Zeus' web data using your Microsoft Office products. However there are many other ways to customize the results Zeus produces too.

The PRO version of Zeus allows for full and easy customization of the look of the directories created, meaning that you can fit them right into your existing web site. The template page allows you total HTML control of the directory pages that will be created.

With the PRO version you do not have to carry banners for Cyber-Robotics (the manufacturer) on all pages. However you can choose to do so, and will earn money for those visitors that purchase Zeus, that came from your Link Directory. This can be a good source of additional income.

There is an awful lot to Zeus. He is complex and deep when first met. However, he is also very friendly and helpful and he will do absolute wonders for your web site.
