First, let me tell you that this is NOT my computer. It's my mom's. She wanted a PC for herself...and she knew NOTHING about a computer when she got it. So guess who it fell to to put it together? Me, of course, which I did not mind. And when I got it together, she was hollering at me every 5 minutes to tell her what to do. Thank goodness for the HP Tour at the beginning that told her what to do--basic functions, what the mouse was for, how to turn it off--it included everything! Also it included some basic software in the box so that she could create her own little menus and things like that. Everything that the HP Pavilion included in the box had its own set of instructions to go along with it. That saved me valuable time. I did not have to go through things with her step by step to teach her.
I would highly recommend this product to new computer users as well as the ones of us who are computer literate.
The HP 601 Printer works well with this product. It is an color ink jet printer. The images it produces are magnificent. Almost any software is compatible with this computer, as long as you make sure that your computer is equipped to handle the software. Also, the HP scanners that are on the market are compatible with this computer.
