| Cope's Full Review: Dell Latitude CPt |
Most laptops these days strive to be the smallest and lightest on the market. To do this, they sacrifice convenience and utility. They frequently have any number of peripherals hanging off by flimsy cords and connectors that you have to carry around in a bag when they're not barely attached to the laptop.
The Dell Latitude CPt is large, with a screen spanning 15 inches. The keys on the keyboard are large enough to fit your hands comfortably. But most importantly, everything is built in. The CD drive, the floppy disk drive, network cards, serial ports, everything. And you don't need a "dongle" for the network card. The ethernet connection plugs right in to the net card. Dongles are flimsy, easy to lose, and hard to find, and the Dell Latitude CPt eliminates the need for one.
Sure, the Dell Latitude CPt might be bigger and heavier than other laptops, but the convenience and utility saved is well worth the extra weight.
