| TrekkieBoy's Full Review: Compaq Presario 5600 |
I have the Presario 5610 and I have to tell you, I was pretty impressed at first. It was the first computer we had bought since '92 so we would be pretty much impressed with anything. However, the speed was good, and it had a built-in Zip drive that has come in handy. Once I upgraded the RAM, it, surprisingly, turned out to be a decent computer. The processor is more reliable than some others I have used, and it came with a DVD-ROM! But the DVD is kind of useless with so little RAM. A great starter PC, but don't expect to buy it and be able to use it effectively for very long. It needs upgrading to keep up. Not bad!
