With pc games growing daily and graphic cards coming out ever few weeks it’s hard to choice the right card. There are so, so many graphic cards out there. I always want the fastest and best looking card out there, at the time I bought my GeForce 256 it was the new kid on the block. Before my GeForce I had a Vodoo 3 fx 3000 and it was good but the GeForce blows it away. I have a PIII 733 and there isn’t a game out there that I cant run. A matter of fact ever game I played accept Quake III I can run In the highest detail and the highest resolution. I play Quake III at 960x800 or something like that in 32bit color and with high detail and It runs at 56-62fps now that is something to see. Unreal Tournament is the best of them I have everything on high and it runs at a non-stop 60fps. My newest game Motocross Madness 2 is the best game to show off this cards power with the game on 1200x1000 or something and detail on high it runs at a good 30fps and very little slow down if you lower the detail a bit it runs at 35fps but you really cant tell even with the resolution on the highest this game runs at 26fps. The only big different between the GeForce 256 and GeForce 2 is the GeForce 2 is a little faster and has some new graphic things that aren’t being used in games yet. This card is a good choice it will last for the next 2-3yrs for sure
