I love this PDA, and, after throwing $100 on the cheaper (in every conceivable way) Royal DaVinci, I feel I finally have a great PDA. I am a consultant and my briefcase is my office. I need all my important info with me. I could carry my super light ACER Notebook (reviewed elsewhere:), and I have. But the Palm IIIe is so good; I don't need to bring it any more.

My best friend works for 3COM and has sung the praises of the Palm for years, but I always thought the handwriting recognition was crappy. I wanted to type my info in, even on one of those tiny keyboards. Well, I was wrong!!! I have been using the palm for a few weeks now and I find the handwriting recognition to be incredible. It almost never misses. It is fast, and easy.

I guess this is the least expensive model of Palm, but for the money it seem like a outrageous bang for the buck! I now only bring my ACER notebook when I must have my computer - the rest of the time, the Palm is more then sufficient.

Buy this wonderful PDA. It beats carrying a day planner and it is more fun.
