You would think this camera was designed for spying and setting up in the bedroom, bathroom, or shower or any unsuspecting woman. I've seen a bunch of their ads on sites like ZDNet and EVERY ad features some pretty big-busted woman smiling at the camera. I suppose I should give them credit for being honest about what their selling.
At work, we were having some problems with dishonest employees stealing memory and processors out of new computers. We figured the only way to put a stop to it was to set up a camera and make sure everyone knew that the computers (which were unopened in storage) would not be raped.
This camera is really easy to setup and works right out of the pretty generic looking thin cardboard box they ship it in. You simply plug the camera into a standard wall power outlet, then go plug the base receiver unit into a tv. After a little adjustment, you got a full color picture of whoever or whatever the camera is pointed at.
Now, these camera are pretty cheap, so don't go expecting crystal clear digital quality here. They are, however, good enough to make out the face on someone if they were to try to steal something or what have you.
We never interfaced our X10 with a computer, so I don't know how well that works out. One cool thing we did do was set the camera and receiver apart from each other about 40 feet, with our server room in between. It didn't interfere with the signal much at all.
