Sometimes it just doesn't pay to wake up on Christmas morning. And I have the KB Sketchboard to thank for this year's family heartbreak.

We bought the sketchboard for Christmas. It looked like a great product and concept (our version even was co-branded with the Disney). hey---it's Disney---shouldn't it be great?

Somehow, Santa brought us a lump of coal, shrinkwrapped it and called it a KB Sketchboard.

Now let me explain. Our new, unopened, box did not contain the necessary cables to connect it to the USB port for our Windows PC. They were missing. Maybe I should read the instructions the family tells me. Well, that would have been nice. Except that KB Gears included the instructions for the "KB Jam Cam" in the Sketchboard box by mistake. No INSTRUXS + WRONG CABLES = a non-functioning Christmas toy.

After a delightful, heated exchange with our local merchant, I finally got my money back.
