I have heard of many companies with free internet access, but NetZero is simply the way to go. I have used many ISP's in the last 5 years, and having to constantly pay approximately $20.00 per month for internet access is now simply not even a consideration. With NetZero, I have yet to connect at a speed slower than 57600 kbps, where with other ISP's I would connect from 16400 to 43333 kbps with the same modem I have now. I have only received a busy signal ONCE in the year I have been using NetZero. I have heard others complain about the advertisement window in the corner, but I don't notice it unless I am specifically looking at the ads. The best way to get around the ZeroPort is to run your screen resolution on your computer as high as you can. Using 1024x768 on our system, the ZeroPort doesn't even cover the Address line on IE5. There are other free ISP's out there, and many want referrals from current customers. I don't get any mention from NetZero for writing this, but I feel that it is simply the best free ISP that is currently available.
