The price and performance of this beauty pushes in right in the high end video card category. At the time when it first came out, few games gave problems, and required updates. Afterwards I fell in love. I must say for the buck, I really like the card. If you are running a lower end system and are on a budget, I really advise the card. Higher end systems(for you speedfreaks), go ahead and get a TNT2. For the low ends with not so much RAM, buy this puppy. The price is excellent.
Overclocking. Ok, I did Overclock this thing, and it did so so. Stability was a pain on some games, i had more frequent crashes with this card than any other I have had with overclocking. My system is a 500 mhz PIII Abit board. The heat was an issue, majorly. It got pretty hot. I would not advise the card for overclocking.
It does show as a contender towards higher end cards. If i had a slow 333, w/ 32 megs of ram then I would buy this card again. I do recommend it!!
