One of my best friends works for Epson and from time to time he hooks me up with ink cartridges for my Stylus 740 and other trinkets with the Epson logo firmly attached. When he suggested to me that I purchase the Epson Stylus Photo 2000P to get better results with my photo prints I didn’t hesitate, the man knows Epson.
Although I have printed photo quality prints with my 740 the difference in quality between it and the 2000P is like the difference between a Ferrari and a VW, unreal. The 6 color inkjet 2000P reproduces print quality pictures that are unequaled. I am absolutely amazed every time I print a new shot at the vivid colors and finely detailed photos that it produces. Using special paper and inks will produce images that will last a lifetime and more.
The 2000P isn’t fast like the Ferrari but the VW like speed (slow) gives you an almost equal quality that photo prints do. I noticed that the Epson Stylus Photo 2000P isn’t ranked in the top three photo printers. I think that the reason for this is the Epson Stylus Photo 2000P’s cost. At close to $1000, the Epson Stylus Photo 2000P definitely isn’t for everyone.
The Epson Stylus Photo 2000P is a photographers printer. Anyone that wants to produce high quality photos with their printer will find the Epson Stylus Photo 2000P to be everything they want and more. If you are interested in good photos but less than top photo quality you would be better off looking elsewhere in the Epson line for something more affordable.
I highly recommend the Epson Stylus Photo 2000P for producing detailed, high quality photo prints that will last you a lifetime.
