I am a die hard Tomb Raider Fan. Why? I like pretty colors and realistic graphics, nice and bright. Shoot people and solve puzzles, that pleases me. I pick up this silly game, or at least I thought it was, thinking "I'll try it and if it sucks, I'll just take it back" no problem. But hey wait a minute, I have to move quietly through darkened streets looking for a shadow to hide in?. Sneak into peoples homes while they're in there going about their business and steal from them without getting caught? Knock guards out by sneaking up behind them and then dragging their bodies into darkened areas so that no other guards can take notice? Hiding in a shadow while a guard or even a spirit is eagerly and carefully looking for you and you can hear his footsteps and see him coming towards you? This is a totally new concept in gaming and it works.
This game is a thrill a minute. I love Tomb Raider, but I can easily put down Tomb Raider at around 10:30pm and head for bed to get ready for work the next day. Not Thief, I could not put this game down. Time flies while playing Thief, you will be up till 2:00 AM with this game. This is an addictive, thrilling, and even SCARY game with an incredible story line that will leave you stunned. No bad qualities on this game, the concept is just too new so there is really nothing to compare it to.
