When I first dealt with Memory Maximus, I was very pleased. I ordered a modem and a floppy disk drive. The items were a little slow in delivery, but everything arrived and the prices were decent. They offered UPS Ground shipping (which I think is the best available for the price.)

I tried to order another modem recently and everything had changed. They only use Federal Express now, which inflates the prices two- or three-fold. Even worse, their order page is very confusing. The page in which you view your "shopping basket" shows all the delivery types, along with prices. Once you get to the confirmation page, the prices are gone, as well as how many days each will take. So if you didn't memorize the list on the previous page, you're lost.

I chose Standard Fed-Ex on their pull down menu because standard is usually cheapest. After submitting the order, I reread the list and found that I had selected Fed-Ex Standard *Overnight* delivery. I immediately e-mailed the Sales team to inform them of my error and to ask them to cancel my order. I received no response, and I received the order one week later. The shipping bill was 31.99.

I thought I worked everything out when I called the RMA line to be refunded for the so-called Overnight delivery (read: one week). The lady instructed me to open the package to make sure it was the correct product. They had sent me the wrong modem. I returned the modem for a full refund to my Visa, but a new modem was mailed back. I am still in the process of returning the second modem, which, by the way, was not the modem I had ordered. Please boycott this company. They give internet shopping a very, very bad name.
