I was very disappointed when I found that this would not work with my Imac DV. It makes it very misleding to say that it works on G3 Computers and then leave out the one product that sold more than anyother product did, the Imac. The iMac has a firewire port just like they all do but for some odd reason they chose not to include it. The Zip drive is not all bad though...It works great with the Power Macs. It is not that it is a horrible product but it does annoy me that they did not include Imac in the compatibility of the product. There is a new option for us imac lovers out there and it is from Orange Micro systems. It is called the OrangeConverter and it takes SCSI zip drives and hooks them up through the Firewire Ports for cheap. $99. VST has a brand new web price for the Zip 250 at $199. Still not to bad. They first sold for $279 which I believe is way too much. It is also compatiable with Zip 100 disks as well.
