| dmfokjf's Full Review: IBM G 54 Monitor |
Just as I say in my title the IBM G54 is the best thing I have come across yet. In the past I have tried Gateway Monitors, and Apple monitors, none of which suited me because the brightness, and style of the color. This monitor however does not have that type of image. When you look at this monitor, and look under the ocean floor at websites or anything else it looks like you are really there. Well, it may not be that real but close to it.
Looks At a Glance
This isn't a high tech monitor that you will pay your whole life savings for. But you will get high quality color, and a good look to it. At first glance when I saw this "machine," I saw its dark reflection, and instantly fell in love with the looks. But I was not so intent to buy. For I know what it is like to buy, for the looks, and realize what I got into. I realized that when I bought my Corvette back in the 80's. So I decided to check into it myself.
I saw this computer on showcase at circuit city, and told my wife that was the one. We looked it over, and she agreed it was a great monitor, by the looks on the outside. We rushed over to see what qualities this baby really had. The color was as bright as I had said in the beginning. Something truly unique in a color monitor.

Yes, that is exactly what happened. This monitor was sold. Finally! I quickly rushed home, and pushed my old gateway monitor out of the way. I was still shocked by it's great color, and then it was hooked up.
Features
This computer will not amaze you by the many features it has. Because it does not have much to offer. One flaw of this that I wish you could do is turn up the volume straight from the monitor. To this day I have not found any use for anything on this monitor other than the great color. If your looking for a monitor with features, don't look here.
What I Found
To this day I am still very proud of my monitor. It has been a part of my family. The color still remains great after about a half a year of use. I can still think I am in wonderland, when I am really discovering things in the ocean on websites.
Conclusions
In Conclusion, most people I have talked to enjoy this monitor. You can take my word for it, or you can take your friends. I encourage you to look into this monitor if you want a high quality monitor that will last a while. But if you want many features, then this really isn't anything like that. So easy to use no wonder it's #...1...on my list. :)
