Very usefull little app.

veganweb's Full Review: Microsoft Notepad
Notepad is probably the most underrated application that Microsoft has ever made us buy. Basically Notepad is a little word processing program that comes with Windows. This is a no-frills application and should not replace a real word processing program.

But what it does it does well. What I used to use it for is editing html files. Altho I tend to use Wordpad more often these days, I've put my time in with Notepad. It's easy to use, doesn't try to think for you and will not crash.

The downside, and this is really important for me, is that it doesn't have a spell checker. I am a horrible speller and spell check is crucial. That's about the only thing I would change on Notepad.
