The short comings

Pros: Lots of options/lots of control

Now, first let me say that I am not bashing Fontographer. I also love the product, however, it has some down falls. I teach a graphics class. We use this program during our typography section to create our own fonts. Fontographer has "all of the features you could want in a font editor." That is true but how many other font editors are out there to compare. Not very many. My main issue with this software that I want others to be aware of is: It is not easy to use. All other software out has modified it's look and feel for ease of use. I honestly think that this product could be made much more user friendly allowing more users to enjoy it's multitude of font controls.
