I hate Spam!!!

Before I got on the internet I had heard of spam e-mailing but I really had no idea what it was. I finally got a web tv and it had a anti-spam feature so I didn't think I had anything to worry about. Boy, was I wrong! I found out what spam was and quick! I think someone need to inform webtv about spam because they are clueless.Everyday I get at least 10 of those pornographic sites, some girl inviting you into their dorm room. I made the mistake that many of you have by replying to the e-mail telling them that I was not interested in their trash! The e-mails only got worse. Now I get porn and multi-media get rich quick plans, almost thirty a day.Some of the e-mails I have been getting do have a e-mail list that you can unsubscribe to. That has helped a little.For now all I can do is delete when I do not recognize the name of the sender.There are "spam police" out there but was good does it really do? If they shut down one website five more pop up in it's place.My advice to people just getting started on the web:1. Be careful giving out your e-mail address on websites for mail lists and such, the more people that get it will just pass it along.2. If you get one of these e-mail DO NOT reply back or go to the website. Sometimes these people just send a random e-mail for ex. "mailbox@webtv.net" that would go to a bunch of people who have webtv addresses. But if you reply or click on their link, they have your sole address.and 3. if all else fails just delete, if no one responds to their e-mail after a while they will give up.
