I first signed up and downloaded AA.com a few months ago, and I never thought I'd be back. After a few days of using the ad bar, I was totally frustrated!! The bar would freeze my computer every time I turned it on, then I would have to reboot my computer. I sent e-mail to the tech department, and was told that they were working on the problem. So a few weeks go by and I get another reply saying they have "fixed" the problem, and I should download the new ad bar. I did and the ad bar was not fixed. It still made my computer freeze when I used it, so I just deleted the whole program and forgot about it.
Then I got an e-mail from them in December asking why I hadn't been using their bar. I decided to give them one more try, and I'm glad I did. Not only does the ad bar run smoothly now, but I'm running it with 3 other ad bars!! They seem to have fixed their problem. They only pay for 25 hours a month, but then you just turn it off. I have been told by more than a few people that they do pay promptly.(I should receive my first check at the end of January.)
So if your like me and you were turned off by the ineptness of AA when they first started, give them another try. They seem to have gotten their stuff together now!!
